Massachusetts Dance Festival believes that dance, as a major component of arts and culture, is essential to meaningful lives and healthy communities. 2012 Festival Dates:
The Eastern Mass Performaces will be held on June 23rd and 24th at Boston University
The Western Mass Performaces will be held on September 22nd and 23rd at UMass Amherst
Senator Sonia Chang-DÍaz, chair of the tourism, arts and cultural development committee, endorses the Massachusetts Dance Festival. Also, serving as a member of the Education Committee and the Community Development and Small Business Committee, Ms. Chang DÍaz’s mission is in line with the Massachusetts Dance Festival’s goals. "Through statewide dance and education workshops and performances," together we support small businesses that work for the dance industry, improve the connections in our communities, and improve the quality of education through the arts.
